Pies, Pints, Home Guard & a Spot of Dancin’

Station Forecourt

Right then… you’ve arrived at Haworth – and it’s straight back to the 1940s you go. The Home Guard will be out on patrol (best behaviour, mind), showing off drills and displays across the weekend.

There’s a hand-turned barrel organ playing a proper tune or two, and if the weather’s playing nicely, grab yourself an ice cream and watch the world – and trains – go by.

The Event Marquee

Follow the sound of swing, and you’ll find the marquee… the real hub of the action. You’ll need a Day Rover & Wristband to get in, but once you’re through the doors, it’s music, dancing and good times all around.

We’ve got Swingamathing, Lady Lindy, Johnny Victory and Blondes in Harmony keeping things lively – so don’t be shy, get up and have a go!

Food & Drink

All that jiving’s bound to make you peckish. Fear not – there’s proper pies with mash on sale, and a bottle bar inside the marquee to keep spirits high.
And if you fancy stretching your legs, pop across the road to the railway’s recently reopened Royal Oak – a pint or two might just be calling your name.

Haworth is the heart of the weekend’s catering, offering a mix of classic treats and festive indulgence:

  • Vintage Ice Cream Stand
In partnership with Yorkshire Dales Ice Cream, we’re serving traditional, real dairy ice cream in classic flavours. It’s the perfect nostalgic treat for all ages.
  • Marquee Bar
Our fully stocked bar offers real ales, lagers, and a wide selection of spirits. It’s ideal for a pre-train tipple or a post-journey refreshment.
  • Perks Pie Shop
Returning to Haworth, our famous pie shop is a highlight of the weekend. The team will be serving all our classic pies, including options for vegans, vegetarians, and coeliacs, ensuring everyone can enjoy a taste of the era.
