Polish your dancing shoes and get ready for a night of swing, style and a touch of wartime glamour. Our Friday Night Dance at Oxenhope is the perfect way to kick off the weekend—full of music, laughter and a lively turn or two on the dance floor.
6.00 pm till 10.30 pm & supper – £20pp
On the Stage
Taking centre stage is the wonderful Kitty La Mare, bringing warmth, elegance and a voice that feels right at home in the 1940s. From much-loved wartime favourites to timeless swing classics, she’s joined by the sensational Ashby Little Big Band, delivering that rich, full dance hall sound that’ll have the place buzzing.
Expect everything from upbeat, toe-tapping numbers to slower tunes made for a spin around the floor, whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just fancy giving it a go.

Food & Drink
All that dancin’ is bound to work up an appetite… so we’ve lined up a proper supper to keep you going. The catering team will be serving a classic pie and peas, supplied by local butcher Drake’s of Macefield—a hearty, no-nonsense plate that’ll set you up nicely for a night on the dance floor.
Whether you’re taking a breather between tunes or settling in to enjoy the music, there’s plenty to keep you fuelled and ready for more.
And of course, no evening knees-up would be complete without a drink in hand. A dedicated bar will be open throughout the night, serving a range of beers, wines and soft drinks in a relaxed setting—so you can keep refreshed while the band plays on.

On The Tracks
Leave the motorcar at home and arrive in proper style… by train, of course. We’ll be running a free shuttle service between Haworth and Oxenhope using one of the railway’s heritage DMUs—getting you to the dance and back again with ease.
Plenty of time to enjoy the evening, have a dance (or two), and still catch your train home.
Prefer to drive? No trouble—free parking is available at Oxenhope Station.
